1 Wonderful HDR Panorama : 9 HDR Photos : 27 Pictures

Last night after volunteering at the local MSPCA Humane Society, Kaylee of Dog Breath Photography and I found ourselves staring at a BEAUTIFUL sunset. This was unlike anything I had seen before so I snapped 27 photos at different exposers. This lead to 9 solid HDR images, which were then stitched in photoshop into one large panorama. Here is the result, PLEASE enjoy.

My first attempt at a panorama and my third attempt at HDR… I am quite pleased.

MSPCA: Bailey and Joshua

I met some awesome bigger pups at the MSPCA this past Thursday too!

On this incredibly hot day we managed to photograph 8 different dogs, many of whom are up on pet finder, in just a couple of hours! Keep in mind that we don’t just take them out, take some pictures, and bring them back in… but there has to be some epic play time involved! This first guy is named Bailey. He’s some type of cattle dog with some possible skin allergies, but that doesn’t stop him from having an absolute blast on a wonderful day!

Clearly Bailey wanted to give us some love and got a bit over excited. This face makes me too happy.

Finally you get to see this goofy man’s amazing eyes. No this is not some trick of the camera, Bailey’s left eye (his lift, our right while looking at him) is half mocha brown and half icy blue. Talk about a looker!

Joshua is the second guy for today! Beautiful, and totally aware of how to pose for a camera he made our lives easy! Yet another perfect example of a sweet pit who is completely undeserving of the reputation that the media has given them, cuddle bug to the extreme.

We also get the comment, “Oh I couldn’t volunteer there, I’d want to take every one home.” This is 100% accurate, the eyes always have so much love in them, it’s hard to say no! Anyone have a large farm they’d like to donate to me so they can all run free in beautiful green fields all day long!?

Another wonderful week with some wonderful pups! More MSPCA updates will arrive throughout the coming weeks!

Rainy Day Puppies

Working on my editing skills and trying a few new things. I had the privilege to shoot again for the MSPCA in Methuen, MA and take some pictures with Dog Breath Photography of some adoptables at their shelter!

The first boy that I fell in love with before I ever got a bit of his personality was Bow. He’s absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t get over how well behaved he was. This is one of the photos from his adventure out into the rainy weather.

Next up is my new favorite thing on the planet… Scooby. Yes, the name is unoriginal, but this guy has more spunk and originality than any pup I’ve met. You can see him pictured here with his new ball which he found while bounding in the tall grass.

Secondly, you can see that he has quite a love for digging holes. Not something I would instantly admit to a potential adopter, but with proper training he could easily out grow. As soon has we said no and walked him he stopped… but it was that cute that I couldn’t stop him before snapping a few photos.

That is all for now. I was working on a but of HDR earlier to completely trump my previous attempt (hopefully).

Cheers!
